What does the treatment involve?
A blood sample is collected and passed through a centrifuge system to separate the platelets and fibrin from the red blood cells – this concentrate, known as the matrix, is then injected into the areas to be treated.
PRP can be combined with microneedling to enhance results.
Following treatment you can expect redness, slight swelling and some may experience bruising on bony areas. This settles within 24-72 hours and can be concealed with tinted SPF or make up.

How does PRP work?
PRP works by using platelet cells from a portion of your own blood, rich is growth factors and stem cells to regenerate and remodel the skin while naturally increasing elasticity and collagen production. The skin is re-plumped and rejuvenated, fine lines and wrinkles are reduced to create a youthful, radiant glow.
PRP injections are hugely successful in the treatment of areas such as crow’s feet, “crepey” eyelids, thinning hair, scars and wrinkles and for those not keen on filler but looking to improve volume to areas such as nasolabial folds.
