What is Laser Vein Treatment?

Laser therapy is a proven treatment for treating unsightly broken and dilated vessels. Our laser works by emitting a specialised light that is passed through the skin which is absorbed by haemoglobin (the red portion of blood) in the unwanted vessel. The laser causes coagulation of the vessel, which results in the disappearance of the vein.

Results are seen following the first treatment, however depending on the vessels further treatment may be required after 4-6 weeks. A treatment plan will be tailored to your skin at initial consultation. Your consultation will include a patch test of the area.

Indications: Spider Veins

Not suitable for: Varicose Veins. Assessment of medical history is carried out at a consultation.
