HIFU (High Intensity Focussed Ultrasound) is the only non surgical cosmetic procedure that can target the deep structural layers of the skin using ultrasound to lift and tighten the face, neck and décolletage areas.

This technology is unique in its ability to penetrate the dermis and the SMAS (superficial muscular aponeurotic system) layer, which is deeper than all other non-invasive facial treatments. The SMAS is the same layer which is tightened during traditional facelift surgery.
The HIFU treatment works by sending highly focused acoustic energy below the skin’s surface to cause cellular friction within the molecules, resulting in precise, target- point heating. The friction between these molecules produce heat and thermal injury at a focal point within the skin tissue to create thermal coagulation zones at 3 selected depths (1.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.5mm) leaving the skin’s surface unaffected.
