What is Exosome Treatment?

Exosomes are particles that are naturally released from cells, especially from stem cells. They carry genetic information, proteins, multiple growth factors and messenger RNA. Exosome are responsible for cell to cell communication as messenger cells and have the ability to activate your own cells to function as actively and efficiently as young people’s cells. These give old cells what they need to regenerate, rejuvenate and improve themselves, delaying the aging process significantly.

Exosomes also contain growth factors, anti-inflammatory cytokines and genetic materials that help in tissue repair and immune modulation. This is important, because as we age, our skin loses the ability to maintain collagen synthesis and repair damaged cells.

What is exosome treatment used for?

  • Global Skin tightening over face and neck (Exosomes activate your skin cells to produce up to 600 % more collagen and 300% more elastin).

  • Skin brightening

  • Improvement in wrinkles, skin health, hydration, open pores and skin radiance

  • Reduction in skin redness and inflammation

(rosacea and acne, dermatitis, psoriasis, sundamage)

  • Reconstruction of the skin barrier in eczema

  • Improvement in wound healing and scar tissue

  • Hair restoration for hair thinning

How is it different to PRP?

Traditionally PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is the chosen treatment for Natural Skin rejuvenation, hair thinning and post hair transplant. PRP involves collecting a sample of blood and injecting the patient’s own growth factors into the face or scalp. It is a very successful treatment for those who are healthy with good platelet count. Unfortunately PRP is not suitable for everyone.

Exosome treatment isn’t affected by the patient’s health, blood volume, or age. During the preparation process, it’s purified to ensure a high concentration of growth factors for treatment success.

PRP may cause injection site pain, tenderness, itching, and minor irritation. It may also cause swelling and inflammation. Therefore downtime is more likely post PRP treatments. Exosome treatment delivered by microneedling may also cause pain at the treated area, however, it won’t trigger any inflammation since it actually contains proteins that regulate the inflammatory response. This may be a preferred choice of treatment for those not keen on needles.

How many treatments will I need?
